Traveling!

Well, you may have noticed that I haven't made any posts for a few days - I was fortunate enough to spend the last week in New York at an SES Conference (Internet marketing). It was very interesting and I really do love New York - got to see a show while I was there but that cold weather really is NO FUN! I was so happy to get back to our tropical climate - eventually ! Since there was a fire at MIA and my return flight was cancelled - I was stuck in New York an extra night - no fun when you just want to get home - travel really is not fun like it used to be - with all the security lines and airlines skimping on the little extras not to mention how you are jammed into those planes - just another reason that Island Bargains is the perfect way to Shop, Ship and Save - without the hassle! I do this all the time! I guess I won't be doing it ANY more !

A few days ago, a person was recharging his mobile phone at home.Just at that time a call came in and he answered it with the charging Instrument still connected to the outlet. After a few seconds electricity flowed into the cell phone unrestrained and the young man was thrown to the floor with a heavy thud.. As you can see, the phone actually exploded.







His parents rushed to the room only to find him unconscious, with a weak heartbeat and burnt fingers.
He was rushed to the nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.


Cell phones are a very useful modern invention. However, we must be aware that it can also be an instrument


of death. Never use the cell phone while it is hooked to the electrical outlet! If you are charging the cell phone and a call comes in, unplug it from the charger and outlet.
